Mouse Shapes

They're not done but I couldn't resist sharing.  Saw this idea over on Pinterest and loved it.

We read the book Mouse Shapes and then created backgrounds.  Next the kids got to choose if their mouse bodies were circles, squares, or rectangles.  I used pre-cut shapes for the eyes, bodies, and ears.  Then the kids then went to town with their own legs, heads, whiskers, arms...looking forward to them adding more details next class.
