Textured Mendhi Hands

The Grade 2 Mendhi hands are finally done!  There were a lot of broken ones because there was trapped air in between the hand and the background-- we ended up rolling over the whole thing on the second go-round which helped the air release but distorted the designs on the hand.  My advice would be to do the background first-- then cut the hand, attach it-- and THEN add the Mendhi designs with a sharp instrument.

I've seen great versions of these all over the blogosphere-- some over at Art Is Messy and other ones at Art.Paper.Scissors. Glue!
